ECC21 Firmware

Click on the file tab to transfer the latest ECC21 firmware to your Computer. Note: Communication to serial devices through the ECC21 during firmware updates is not available. Communications should be restored automatically in most PowerLogic Systems. 


PowerView software

Update for PowerLogic PowerView v1.0 - ENGLISH ONLY A software patch is available for PowerView Version 1.0. This patch provides unsigned power factor support for the current PM710. The current PM7 driver provides power factor support for the PM750 only. 


ECC21 HTML Pages and Instructions

The ECC21 enables you to access custom HTML pages (stored in the CM3000 or CM4000 series circuit monitors) using a standard web browser. The HTML pages let you access real-time device data from a single device or multiple devices, including the host circuit monitor.   • Using the ECC21 HTML Pages - "Using the ECC HTML Pages" contains the information you need to download and use the custom HTML pages created for use with the ECC21 for CM3000 and CM4000 series circuit monitors. The document is available as a PDF or Word document.

  • Custom ECC21 HTML Pages -

    The CM3000 and CM4000 series circuit monitors with the optional ethernet card (ECC21) provide access to information using a standard web browser. This download page contains a zip file with 12 custom web pages for the ECC21. The zip file also contains one executable program. This program installs a graphing tool to your web browser for use with some of the graphing and trending features of the custom web pages. To install the graphing tool, expand the contents of the zip file to your hard drive, double-click the executable file, and follow the install instructions provided. For instructions on loading custom web pages into the ECC21 card, please see the "Using the ECC21 HTML Pages" section of this web site or the ECC21 User's Guide.




DLF3000 Download Firmware Utility

The Download Firmware Upgrade Utility (DLF3000) is a tool used to install the latest firmware version for your POWERLOGIC or POWERLINK device. After downloading DLF-3000 v3_3 v2.exe, do the following to install DLF3000:

  1. Uninstall earlier versions of DLF.
    1. On your Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
    2. Click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Select the DLF program and remove it.
  2. Navigate to the folder DLF-3000 v3_3 v2.exe is located, then double-click the file and follow the setup wizard.
  3. When the installation is complete, reboot your PC.

System Manager Service Updates

Select the SMS version to update from the list below. Please see the SMS v4 System Requirements Addendum document below concerning important information about the installation of SMS on non-server operating systems (currently, Windows XP).

  • V4.0 SU2 & SU3 - The SMS V4.0 SU3 (English) service update is free to all registered users of SMS V4.0 Service Update 1 (English) and SMS V4.0 Service Update 2 (English).

  • V4 Sys Requirements - Please see SMS v4 System Requirements Addendum before upgrading your system.

  • DL V4.0 SU1 - This update is a free update for all registered users of SMSDL version 4.0. This update must be installed on the same PC as the SMSDL 4.0.

  • SE V4.0 SU1 - This update is a free update for all registered users of SMSSE version 4.0. This update must be installed on the same PC as the SMSSE 4.0.

  • V3.3.2.3 Update - This is a free update to registered users of SMS version 3.3.2.3. SMS 3.3.2.3 must be installed on the PC to which you are installing this update.
    This update is NOT required for SMS version 4.0 and later.


  • V3.3.2.3 Update - System Manager Software, version 3.3.2.3 Service Update is a free update to registered users of SMS version 3.3 or higher. SMS 3.3 or higher must be installed on the PC to which you are installing this upgrade.

  • V3.3.2.2 Update -

    A free update to registered users of SMS version 3.3 or higher. SMS 3.3 or higher must be installed on the PC to which you are installing this upgrade.



  • V3.11 Update - Download and install the file to update SMS 3.1

  • V3.21 Update - Download and install the executable file to update SMS version 3.20 to version 3.21.

PM8ECC firmware & MIB

    The version 2.300 firmware update includes an improved SNMP agent.  With the use of the new PM8ECC private MIB, access to the host PM8 basic metering, I/O, and alarm information, as well as alarm trap notification is now supported.

SMS SQL 2000 SP3 Instructions

The files below contain instructions for installing SQL 2000 SP3 to an SMS Server. Download the file and and run to unzip the files the the c: empSMS_SP3(Slammer). Then follow the instructions in the document "Applying the Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 SP3 to SMS".


CM4000 series firmware

Here is the latest revision of firmware for the CM4000/CM4000T. There are 3 files for the CM4000 (DL,OS,LL), and a 4th file for the CM4000T (CVMT). The DL and OS files need to be installed first and the LL file needs to be downloaded last.
