Latest Version of SMS Now Available

PowerLogic System Manager Software (SMS) has always been the most powerful power management software in the industry, but V3.3.2.3 now offers customers more than ever before. Perhaps the most important update in 3.3.2.3 is the software's ability to provide customers with more usable and intuitive information at a glance. 

"Square D has always done an incredible job of collecting power system data with our PowerLogic Systems," said Karl Kersey, Senior Product Specialist for Square D / Schneider Electric's Power Management Operations. "However, this latest version of SMS offers a wide range of tabular reports designed to provide even more information that customers can act on at a glance, without pouring through mountains of raw data." 

Citing one particular example, Kersey explained how new power quality index readings let users know if their power quality is getting better or worse, either system wide or on a single piece of equipment, based on historical data. "Being able to see this kind of information on one screen lets users react quickly to potential problems so they can fix them; then concentrate on other aspects of their job." 

The new standard table reports included in 3.3.2.3 are; Power Quality Index Readings (summary of power quality values with weekly, monthly and yearly trends for a single meter), Power Quality Summary (summary of overall power quality for multiple meters), Alarm Summary Readings (summary of alarms for a single meter), Alarm Trend Readings (monthly and yearly trending for common alarms for a single meter) and Interval Energy Readings (interval energy for various intervals for a single meter). 

In addition the new tabular reports, System Manager 3.3.2.3 includes support for the PowerLogic Power Meter 800 input / output (I/O) capabilities. This new feature provides I/O configuration for the PM8M2222, PM8M26 and the PM8M22. 3.3.2.3 also supports the PowerLogic Multi-Circuit Monitor (MCM), allowing it to generate electrical cost summary reports.
