SQUARE D POWERLOGIC TENANT METERING SOFTWARE RECEIVES AWARD IN EC&M PRODUCT OF THE YEAR CONTEST
March 26, 2008

Schneider Electric announces that its Square D PowerLogic Tenant Metering Commercial Edition Software has won an award in the Computers & Software category of EC&M magazine's 2008 Product of the Year contest.

EC&M's 2008 Product of the Year contest received close to 100 entries. A panel of judges, including electricians, engineers and facility managers, evaluated those entries and selected finalists in 24 product categories. The category winners were announced at the Electric West show in late February. These 24 finalists will now compete for the 2008 EC&M Product of the Year Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards, which honor excellence in new product development in the electrical industry.

The award-winning PowerLogic Tenant Metering Commercial Edition Software enables commercial property managers to allocate and recover the actual cost of their utilities while adhering to government cost allocation regulations. It boasts fully automated meter reading functionality, a rate configuration tool and comprehensive invoicing for multiple utilities. Supportive of up to 2,000 Modbus metering devices, the software also downloads data stored in the meters, maintains enhanced data integrity and allows property managers to identify peak consumption periods, as well as energy savings opportunities.
