This update is a free update for all registered users of SMSDL version 4.0. This update must be installed on the same PC as the SMSDL 4.0.

This update contains the following enhancements: 

• Increased device support for the PM8, CM3000, CM4000, and Energy Meters 
• Improved system performance 
• Improved security 
• Improved GFX scalability 
  
  

Prerequisites for installation of the Service Update 1 for SMSDL are the following: 

• SMSDL 4.0 
• Service Pack 1 for Dot Net version 1.1
• Windows Script Host 5.6 or higher (Available for download from the Microsoft web site) 
• Message Queuing (Windows Companent) Update Installation 

Directions:

1. Make sure all the prerequisites have been meet
2. Download the zip file SMSDL40_SU1.zip from the PowerLogic Web site to C: of the SMSDL Server PC
3. Extract the file files within the zip and double-click the ?setup.exe? file under the LP_SMSDLU40_1 folder.
4. Follow the directions as prompted by the setup. This will install the Launchpad for SMSDL40 SU1
5. Click the Finish button. When prompted to enter the Launchpad CD browse to the setup.exe file under the C:LP_SMSDLU40_1update directory
