This update is a free update for all registered users of SMSSE version 4.0. This update must be installed on the same PC as the SMSSE 4.0.

Prerequisites for installation of the Service Update 1 for SMSSE are the following:
- SMSSE 4.0
- Service Pack 1 for Dot Net version 1.1
- Windows Script Host 5.6 or higher (Available for download from the Microsoft web site)
- Message Queuing (Windows Component) Update Installation
Directions:
- Make sure all the prerequisites have been meet
- Download the zip file SMSSE40_SU1.zip from the PowerLogic Web site to C: of the SMSSE Server PC
- Extract the file files within the zip and double-click the setup.exe file under the LP_SMSSEU40_1 folder.
- Follow the directions as prompted by the setup. This will install the Launchpad for SMSSE40 SU1
- Click the Finish button.
- When prompted to enter the Launchpad CD browse to the setup.exe file under the C:LP_SMSSEU40_1update directory
