PowerLogic ECC Now Emails On Alarm

Remote alarm notification emails indicating circuit breaker trips or upstream / downstream disturbance detection events can now be sent to your computer or other mobile devices directly from PowerLogic Circuit Monitors equipped with an Ethernet Communication Card (ECC). The ECC supports up to 15 email addresses with time of day and day of week schedules per user. Although for many years the PowerLogic system has had alarm email capabilities through System Manager software, this meter-based capability does not require installing PC based software. Even the configuration of the ECC email on alarm capability is done through web pages resident in the ECC and all configuration data is stored in the Circuit Monitor. 

These web-enabled ECC pages include the following configuration settings: 

1) 15 email addresses with selections for high, medium, or low priority alarms 
2) Time of day and day of week schedule per email address 
3) SMTP server settings: IP, Port and "From" email address 

When any priority metering or status alarm occurs (or when initiated by a CMPL program ? Circuit Monitor Programming Language), the Circuit Monitor:
 
1) composes the email message 
2) transfers it to the ECC, and then 
3) it is sent out over the network to a maximum of 15 users each with time of day schedule options. 

Alarm emails give complete alarm description including date time, event, value, condition, phase, disturbance direction, and priority. Alarms can be batched by time or by number of alarms. Spanish support available.
