Available in one of three optional feature sets, the cost-effective ION8600 is designed to complement a wide variety of applications and requirements. Integrate the ION8600 with our ION® EEM software, ION Enterprise® software, or other energy management and SCADA systems through multiple communication channels and protocols, including MV-90.

• Multiple form factors for easy installation - Include 9S, 39S, 35S, 36S, 76S forms and a switchboard case option that allow the meter electronics to be "racked out" without having to manually disconnect wires, including I/O wiring.
• Advanced power quality and compliance monitoring - Enables meters equipped with feature set A to measure flicker, harmonics, inter-harmonics, mains signaling, voltage deviations, and other power quality indices, in accordance with internationally-recognized standards such as EN50160, IEEE 868 and IEEE 519-1992 and others. It can also be re-programmed as these standards evolve. It can capture all voltage and current channels at 256 samples per cycle and detect and record transients as short as 65µs at 60Hz.
• Revenue certified parameters - Include hundreds of ANSI compliant measurements and all standard demand calculation methods, comprehensive time-of-use metering, instrument transformer correction and transformer/line loss compensation values.
• UTS/MV-90 support - For the ION8600 offers an industry first direct Ethernet connection to MV-90 and support for other UTS software platforms including MVP, MVLT and MVCOMM.
• Extensive I/O, communications and integration capabilities - Enables up to three DNP 3.0 connections over RS-232, RS-485, modem, optical port or TCP at the same time, in addition to DNP 3.0 compatibility over Ethernet. The meter also supports Modbus RTU, Modbus Master and Slave and offers web capability to send information to web pages and through email.
