Use it right out of the box, or customize the meter to fit your unique requirements right from your workstation, without any hard-wiring. Just graphically link a few drag-and-drop icons, or select default setups.

·  High-visibility front panel display- offers extensive data display screens that include phasor diagrams, harmonics and historical trends, as well as being user-configurable to provide specific, needed information. Also available without a display.

·  Power quality analysis & compliance monitoring- enables the PowerLogic® ION7650 meter to summarize power quality measurements into simple pass/fail indicators and includes advanced features such as anti-aliasing and flicker. Trending and forecasting, adaptive waveform capture (events up to 60 seconds), transient capture (16 μs @ 60 Hz), up to 1024 samples per cycle, sag/swell monitoring, harmonics (up to 63rd), symmetrical components and disturbance direction detection are also available.

·  Revenue certified/accurate parameters- make the meter suitable for direct-access billing and for bill verification, rate comparisons, and other revenue metering applications. The meter complies with ANSI C12.20-1998, class 10 & class 20 on time-of-use, interval data, bi-directional, 4-quadrant energy, demand and TLC, Transformer/Line loss compensation.

·  Internet connectivity- allows the PowerLogic® ION7650 to send information to PDAs, cell phones and pagers, on low cost, existing networks. Send system updates, logs and alarms by e-mail, and use the onboard web server view real-time data in a web browser.

·  Communications and integration capabilities- includes up to 5 communications ports and multi-protocol support for Modbus RTU, slave/master, DNP 3.0., Modbus TCP and Ethernet and modem gateways to 31 devices on RS-485 port simplifies integration with SCADA and energy management systems and makes the meter one of the industry's most flexible devices. The meter can integrate through MV-90, MVP, MVLT and MVCOMM billing platforms and connections to MV-90 via a direct Ethernet connection. SNMP and 10/100 Base TX/FX support also available.

·  Logging, I/O and setpoints - enable the ION7650 to perform sequence-of-events, coincident minimum/maximum, historical trend, and high-speed snapshot recording, 1 ms resolution time stamping and GPS time synchronization. 4 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs, 16 digital status/counter inputs, 7 digital control/pulse outputs, 65 setpoints for alarms and control, 1/2 cycle response, multi-condition, call out on alarm. Also, alarm setpoint learning allows meter to adjust settings based on historical events.
