• Email on alarm - Provides immediate notification of problems for fast correction. Customizable schedules to ensure that the correct personnel are notified.
• Extensive onboard memory - 16 MB of standard onboard memory (expandable to 32 MB) captures billing data and consumption trends without data gaps, events and waveforms. Fourteen log files include individually configurable quantities and recording intervals.
• Power quality summary - Combines each power quality category into a single index to indicate the general level of power quality at the metering point.
• Disturbance direction detection - Indicates upstream or downstream occurrence to locate the source of a disturbance in relation to the meter plus provides a level of confidence.
• Harmonic power flows - Meters at the point of common coupling measure harmonic power flow to help determine whether harmonic currents originated inside the facility or out on the utility grid.
• Impulsive transient detection (CM4000T) - Capture extremely short duration (200 nanosecond) voltage events to determine their source. Verify the adequacy of transient mitigation equipment.
• Flicker measurement (CM4000T) - Measures voltage flicker according to IEC standards. Use for determining the level of flicker due to internal and external influences.
