Square D Plant Case Study
Focused primarily on its Square D manufacturing facilities in the North American Operating Division, Schneider Electric used its own solutions within 21 of its facilities spread across the United States, Mexico and Canada. The program set out with an ambitious goal of reducing energy consumption per employee by 10 percent from 2004 to 2008.

Raging Wire Case Study
Another important aspect of Raging Wire’s system is its well developed, integrated Square D PowerLogic monitoring software system that uses both position and analog metering to display the status, capacity and access capacity of all equipment that is involved in critical power delivery. "Our rule here is that if it has critical power going through it, we want to not only monitor the position of the circuit breaker or other device that it is going through, but we want to monitor the power that goes through it as well," says Linkhart. "We use that for both capacity measurement and prediction as well as to determine what the status of the system is at any given time."

The US PowerLogic.com website has undergone radical re-construction and on September 5th it will be ready for its debut. Completely redesigned, the website features updated with ergonomic navigational consistency that will make it easier to find information and stay informed.

Now Available PowerLogic Active Pager Module
The PowerLogic® Active Pager Module (APM) v. 6.0 with remote alarm notification delivers to your mobile. APM v.6.0 is designed to deliver timely alerts of power system events to cell phone, pagers or PCs to make PowerLogic system users more productive and their power
systems more reliable.
The APM software works with PowerLogic® System Manager™ software (SMS) or PowerLogic® Sequence of Events Recorder (SER) software. It automatically notifies designated users according to their day(s) of week and hourly schedules. In addition, alarms can be seen from any PC on the network using a standard web browser.
