New ION E Data Center Add On Module for Critical Power Application
Schneider Electric is proud to announce the new Data Center Solution Pack for PowerLogic® ION® Enterprise software, the simplest, and most efficient way to add data center visibility to electrical monitoring systems in critical power applications.

The PowerLogic ION Enterprise Data Center Add On Module allows energy data from UPS devices to be combined with traditional metering equipment to provide a unified, low-cost monitoring solution that offers an easy-to-read Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) interface. The system is ideal for facilities managers who want more UPS functionality detail without adding hardware, or for IT personnel who want a clearer look at electrical distribution information.

ION Enterprise 6.0 SP1 Now Available
The latest Service Pack for PowerLogic ION Enterprise 6.0, includes the following enhancements:

  • New device drivers to support E5600
  • Enhanced device drivers for PM800/CM3000/CM4000 device types 
  • Enhancements to Web Reporter to allow custom report packs that use custom Data Extensions to be installed and made available in Web Reporter
  • ION Log Inserter behavior change - handling of "downstream devices"

PM8ECC v2.3 Firmware Now Supports SNMP
The PM800 Series Power Meters now support SNMP via the PM8ECC. With the release of firmware v2.3, the PM8ECC provides the following:

  • Allows SNMP Managers to access basic metering and I/O information from the PM800 Series Power Meters
  • Supports TRAPS to notify users of alarms on meters
  • No need for additional gateway to convert modbus to SNMP

This feature is now available with all new PM8ECC sales. For customers using an older version of the PM8ECC, the new firmware can be downloaded from PowerLogic.com.
