White Paper - Tackling Today's Data Center Energy Efficiency Challenges

Energy efficiency measures are of high importance for data center designers, operators, and owners. This paper outlines a software-based infrastructure that not only gathers and trends, but also masks engineering complexities by representing the data as energy metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). It also describes necessary considerations to apply successful energy efficiency measures in data center environments, new techniques data centers can use for reducing energy consumption and strategies organizations can use to maximize their over-all energy savings.
